I'm sitting in a café in Chicago, where I came the other day with a Spanish friend. He ordered a decaf (decaffeinated coffee) but the waitress didn't understand him. In total, he repeated the order four times... and in the end, the waitress looked at me for a translation.

The simple reason the waitress didn't understand my Spanish friend was because he put the stress on the -caf instead of on the de-.

Simple pronunciation mistake -> serious consequences (no coffee is serious, right?)

Anyway, this little incident inspired me to make a cool new video for you: the top 10 words you probably pronounce badly in English.
